We appreciate all the great questions we receive from our customers. Below you will find some of the most frequently asked questions about how our on-site service works.
- How much is a service call?
Our service calls vary depending upon what location your RV is located in our service area. The price can be as little as $40.00 to as much as $200. We have heard from our customers that it is important to them that the cost of a service call remain as competitive as possible.
To help keep the cost of your RV repair to a minimum we have a policy that we will split the service call between the customers RV’s that we are working on that day.
Many times our customers will only have to pay the minimum service call of $40.00 to have us come and repair it. This minimum helps us to offset vehicle expenses and upkeep, so we can continue to provide the great service you have come to expect.
- What is your service area?
We serve the majority of the state of Wisconsin. The main areas we serve frequently are in a radius extending north to Minocqua, East to Appleton, South to Montello, and West to Black River Falls.
If you are outside of this radius please call us and we can see if it will be cost effective for you to have us work on your RV.
- Are your technicians RVDA Certified?
We strive to have all of our technicians RVDA Certified. With that in mind there are many hours of study and preparation that go into becoming Certified. Many times you will find a Registered Technician with one of our Certified Technicians either assisting them or being trained by them. We appreciate any words of encouragement you can give our new technicians!
- How much do you charge?
We charge ninety dollars per hour while we are at your camper repairing it. We have kept our labor rate competitive with local RV dealers and other mobile services. We have a first service request repair rate of 90%. This means you save money and time!
- What is the average number of days to repair my RV?
We strive to complete our customers repairs in a timely and efficient manner. On average we have most service requests completed within four days. This will depend upon where your RV is located and the availability of the parts.
- Do you work with insurance companies?
We work with many of the major insurance companies to repair your RV after a storm or accident.
- Can you complete warranty repairs on my RV?
We do our best to complete any warranty work on your RV. Due to how manufacturers handle warranty claims we are limited to whether the manufacturer will allow us to work on your RV.
We are an authorized repair center for Dometic, Norcold, Carefree, Lippert and many other RV parts manufacturers. If you have any questions regarding a specific warranty repair please call us at 715.325.2950.
- What are your payment terms?
Our payment terms are Net 30 with a late fee of $25.00 after 60 days.
Because we are a mobile service and do not physically have your RV at our shop we have had to institute a new policy on high priced parts. We will require a deposit of 50% on parts orders that exceed $250.00. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation with our payment terms.
- What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, check and all major credit cards. If you pay us with a credit card on-site we will use Square to process your payment. If you choose to pay your bill online through our customer portal you will be using Paypal.
- How do I schedule a repair?
There are multiple ways to schedule a repair. You can call us at 715.325.2950 and speak with a technician about your problem. If you don’t want to speak with a technician you can also submit a service request online and we will put you on the schedule in the next time slot.
